This week, we're focusing on agendas and making sure that we're using the effectively. Today, students compared agendas with each other to see what they were missing, and even though many of the assignments had already passed, students made sure they had every assignment to date in their agendas. Afterward, they discussed causes for these discrepancies. To do this, we used a variant of the classic Clock Buddies engagement.

We will finish up our initial agenda cleanup tomorrow and then work on standardizing how and when we use it. Yes, we did indeed go through this at the start of the year, but things have already gotten a little rusty. Students will likely realize this tomorrow and make strategies to overcome this creeping complacence.
