Yesterday, we began a new assignment that will hopefully improve students' awareness of their grades in all their classes. Starting third quarter, students will be tracking their own grades in all classes in real time.

Later, I will make sure students know how to calculate their average by hand instead of relying solely on Power School.
Today, we began our third quarter of critical-thinking Friday games with a game of -- well, I don't know what it's called. It feels like an ancient game, but I can't determine its name despite the meager research I've completed.

The kids seemed to enjoy our mystery game more than any of the other critical-thinking games we've played this year.
