We worked on a number of things today: we went over the requirements (again) for the agenda check tomorrow. (Three very basic requirements: students have the rubric if parents would like to review it.)

Then we introduced a new element into the class. We've been doing mindfulness exercises to give students tools to calm their minds in stressful situations (like before a test). Today, we went the other direction. I taught students a neuroplasticity-expanding exercise call Squirt the Bunny. It's harder than it looks, and it's a quick exercise to engage the brain in activity that should increase neuroplasticity. (The kids should know what that term means.)

We ended the class by evaluating other class's "No Follow-Through" comics from the other day. Students took it much more seriously than I was expecting. We'll post the winners on this site soon.
