Tomorrow, students will be receiving their first GPA progress reports. Some students, I'm afraid, are going to be a little disappointed with the grade they get in this or that class. "And that may lead to some goal setting," I explained as a segue to this week's reading (Sixth-grade version || Seventh-grade version). We spent most of the day completing the reading and preparing for our discussions tomorrow.

We also went over a way students can earn back some of the points the lost on earlier assignments through an appeal process.
Our goal for the week is to learn now to write effective SMART goals. We'll publish some of them here shortly.
